i went on a run, somewhat sleepily this morning, but it ended up feeling great. i stole a fabulous oat bran concoction from lauren of food for living. thanks, lauren! here's what i did:
in the pot:
- 1/3 c oat bran
- 1/3 c vanilla soymilk, 2/3 c water (i usually do 1/3 c - thought i'd experiment)
- 1/2 banana (wish it was riper, but at least it wasn't green!)
- 2 T dried cranberries
- 1 T flaxmeal
- a couple drops lemon extract
- 1/2 honest foods cran lemon zest bar (inspiration for the bowl!)
- spoonful almond butter
today's plan: appointment, work, teaching, home by 9:15...
