best. salad. ever.

this just goes to show that pretty much any ingredients can go together. ok maybe not , but a lot can that you might not think of.
  • 2 oz. roast beef
  • 1/2 oz. each emmentaler and aged gouda
  • handful caramelized walnuts
  • 5 strawberries
  • 1/2 cup trader joe's harvest grain & israeli couscous blend, made w/ chicken broth
  • herbed greens
  • honey-cider-olive oil-pepper vinaigrette
the couscous and roast beef were pulled from the freezer, so this was an awesome way to use up leftovers and have an interesting lunch with very little effort


sometimes i get nervous over big composed salads, but this seemed like just the right amount. and now i want tea and cookies!
