bob's red mill muesli served hot (never looked at the package before to see that there were hot cooking instructions... but it makes sense... after all, it's mostly oats!), made with almost a cup of soymilk (the directions called for 1/2 cup but i kept having to add more as the milk was absorbed. i was thinking a 1:1 ratio was kind of odd anyway, since rolled oats are closer to 1:2... anyway... + 5 cut up strawberries (these local babies are SO good - 1/2 finished the package already so may have to buy more this weekend)

i'm experimenting with a lighter morning snack. yesterday i also did a yogurt and it was perfect because it took away any lingering hunger but still left me wanting lunch. the head of our office even commented in a morning meeting yesterday that he had already seen 4 people eating yogurt in meetings that day. go yogurt!
GOGURT
ReplyDeleteyou can experiment w/ a lighter AM snack of course . . but then something else should be a little extra to make up for it, right? maybe a biscotti with your pm latte?
