i made a supereasy fake-out dinner (obviously i was not going to cook now), and i'm actually quite hungry. i didn't quite finish my afternoon snack (so perhaps i should deduct an other) as i was SO FULL but i guess the hunger caught up with me.
oh! and i bought a set of fruit-themed plates today after work (shown off below), at kroger of all places while buying a couple essential bananas. i have 2 cherry, a peach, and a pear. they were on clearance for $1.49 each . i had been wanting small plates for a while, so this was a fun purchase.
packet of annie's microwaveable mac & cheese, 1 tsp. butter and a splash of milk, frozen peas, and a 3 oz. pouch of tuna... plus an apple on the side. because somehow i feel like apple goes with tuna?
** 2 starch, 3 protein, 1 veg, 1 fruit, 2 other **
and a close-up of the yummyness:
and the totals:
8 starch
2.5 fruit
3 veg
7 protein
2 dairy
7 other
i'm pretty amazed at how similar my daily totals are, when i'm not really trying... but i guess my meals are roughly the same size... guess that's how people eat pretty much the same amount each day-- it's still an out-there concept for me.
