awsm lunch.

i didn't wake up until 9:30 after going back to bed... so nice! i haven't been making my sleep at a reasonable hour goal except for thurs. night, so i'm sure i needed this rest. at around 10 i was craving something sweet. i was planning on going for a run so i didn't want anything too voluminous, and so i had the last of my whole foods granola bar (this is 1/2 the package).

whole foods ridiculously good granola bar - how do they make these things so good?

i'm not sure i was hungry for this but for once i allowed myself to enjoy a treat just because i wanted it. it wouldn't have been a good idea to go for a run on an empty stomach anyway!

so after chatting on the phone, i went for a 3-mi run outside in the 65° weather. it was hard towards the end (because i'm out of shape) but really good. afterwards i concocted this terrific lunch... it all came together when i remembered a can of baby corn i'd had in my pantry for at least a year:

whole wheat wrap with the last of my sabra's hummus, cedar's tabouli, a slice of provolone (shredded with my microplane!), spinach leaves, and baby corn, plus a pear

    i just had tcby BANANA and PB FROYO SWIRLED with reese's pieces. it ruled.
