a bowl then back to bed!

my cat woke me up (as usual) but as soon as i woke up my stomach was growling! so i'm eating breakfast at 7 on a saturday... even earlier than i ate during the workweek. it's good to have some hunger signals. i was craving a simple bowl of heritage flakes - they are made of all kinds of grains - millet/spelt/quinoa - so they have a yummy taste and stay very crunchy in milk. i usually mix them with another cereal for variety but this time i had them alone.

oh and what is it with cereal portions on boxes? i don't measure or weigh my cereal, but i have in the past, and i know that for a lighter cereal like this or puffins, i eat roughly 2 portions. 3/4 cup of these guys would not fill me up unless i mixed that with yogurt and other things or ate it as a side.

well now that i'm freezing from the cold milk (extra cold from the cherries as they thaw while eating ) i'm going to go back to bed.
