i heated up my leftovers from the indian restaurant last night... microwaved the rice/idli, and put the stuffed dosai and a piece of papadum in the toaster oven. guess i wasn't paying too much attention.....

burnt papadum - no i did not eat!

but the papadum isn't really much in quantity anyway (it's a paper thin cracker) and luckily the dosai turned out perfect!

clockwise from top center: aloo gobi (curried cauliflower, potatoes & rice), 1.5 sambar idli (soft rice cakes with some sort of spicy sauce), tiny bit of a tomato peanut-y sauce (i asked the restarant for an extra sauce container to take this home because it's my favorite - it is cold and is served with the hot dosai), and ponticherry dosai (dosai stuffed w/ masala & potatoes)
** 3 starch, 2 protein, 1 veg, 2 other ** ?

that was my best (but most likely inaccurate) attempt at describing my indian feast!
