east meets west

i couldn't decide whether to cook tonight or not... but then at around 6 i finally decided on a recipe, and went out to get a few missing ingredients. just finished cooking this lovely recipe. the recipe is already a bit non-traditional (balsalmic vinegar and soy sauce?!) so i decided to make it even more so by serving it alongside a sliced sourdough roll to sop up the juices. the recipe was super easy once i had chopped everything up. i love the addition of red pepper flakes on the top.

edamame and smoked tofu succotash, 1/2 sourdough roll
